Hi Folks,

In looking through "The Pennsylvania Railroad Timetables 1942 & 1943" by
Ed Gardner, I found the following interesting consist information
involving so called "steam hauled" mP54 cars (non-MUs):

December 6, 1942, Make-up of Trains
Train 233
NYC to Phila, 11:00 PM to 12:42 AM
1 PB70 (sealed)
4 P70 (8 P70 on Sunday)
1 PL (parlor)
1 DN (diner) Dead-head
1 B60 (news) Sat
1 PL-Lge. 12 Ch.Su.Hol

Form C.T. 220
January 24, 1943 (Sunday)
PLA	HUEY
PL	MASK & WIG CLUB
DN	7951 (D78?)
PB 4868 (PB70?)
P	261 (mP54)
P	286 (mP54)
P	215 (mP54)
P	102 (mP54)
P	271 (mP54)
P	101 (mP54)
P	6975 (P92, ex-mPBM54 converted to wartime coach)
P	236 (mP54)
P	380 (mP54)
P	353 (mP54)
P	413 (mP54)
P	64 (mP54)

Engine 4925 (brand new GG1)
16 cars
lv NY 11:05, arrive Phila 1:03
1,040 passenger leave NY
335 passengers off at local stops
Through passengers - 705 pay, 16 free

I'm pretty sure that the first 3 and maybe the PB70 were deadheading. I
particularly like that P92... I have one from Railworks, but kitbashing an
mPBM54 is high on my list of projects when the ConCor cars come out!!

Bruce
