[PRR-talk] Q2 question - torpedo tubes?

Bruce,
              Page 34 in the book"PENNSY Q CLASS" the caption above the photo 
states it is a  drain pipe.
It is apparently something that was added after the intial building.The  
photo is of 6131 and it mentions it has recieved some modifications. A  photo of 
6176 on pg19 shows it in 1946 without this drain and a later  photo of 6176 
show this device.
