[PRR-talk] Walthers Decals

Yes, I used the Walthers decals with satisfaction -- on kits I built in the 1950s and
1960s, when "satisfaction" was achieved with much less research and effort than is the
case today. They were thick, which was less of a problem then, as thinner-filmed decals
were not available. They did stick. But they were not nearly as accurate in terms of
appearance (lettering style and color) and conformity to the prototype as we find today.

Ultimately, it's your choice, but today's Pennsy modeler is far less likely to find the
old Walthers decals a source of "satisfaction."
