There was a large Westinghouse transformer plant at Sharon, PA, on the 
Erie & Pittsburgh Branch. This plant likely used Schnabel cars, as Al 
Buchan had a couple pictures in his Shenango Valley presentation at the 
2007 PRRT&HS annual meeting of Schnabel car WECX 201 loaded with a 
transformer in the Erie Ferrona Yard with the transformer plant in the 
background. The PRR served the plant, but many of the transformers were 
interchanged and shipped out of Sharon via the Erie to take advantage of 
the Erie's generous clearances.

There may have been other Westinghouse facilities closer to Pittsburgh 
that also used Schnabel cars, but that's outside of my area of expertise 
so I will speculate no further on that.
