Jerry,
         The lens was half yellow  and half red. Don't know exactly which was 
on top or bottom. I would think the  bulbs were clear,just the lens portion 
was red or yellow. I think the yellow  portion was used when in manual block 
territory as those rules were still in  effect when the markers were designed 
under steam.
