Bob,

The shop codes listed in PRR Circulars 71-E (1930) to 71-G (1954) for the Delmarva Division were:

C.C.S. - Cape Charles Car Shop
C.C.E. - Cape Charles Engine Shops
CLA. - Clayton
DEL. - Delmar
N.N.S.-N.N. - Newport News Shipbuilding & Dry Dock Co., Newport News, Va.
Pt. N. - Port Norfolk

The Wilmington Car Shop code was WG.C.  However, the Wilmington shops were part of the Maryland Division, not the Delmarva Division.

  Hello Everyone,

   

  Does anyone happen to know the shop code for either Cape Charles, Wilmington, or Delmar...all of which are out in PRR's Delmarva Peninsula region of Maryland. Is it to oversimplified to imagine CC, WM, and DM for these particular shops? I need to get this data to the gentleman whose painting two cabins for me. Decals are calling and so I'm in need of this info pretty quick. Thank for any assistance you can provide. It is much appreciated.
