[PRR-talk] F39 Trailers - models available in N Scale

[N Scale Kits]

N Scale Kits are about to release our F39 cars that were used by PRR and
Trailer Train.

 

In March 1955, 200 of these 75' TOFC cars were put into service on the PRR.
Designed to carry two of the then-current standard 35' trailers or three
21-foot trailer bodies without bogies, they were initially in PRR red with
white lettering. Later, they became Trailer Train cars, and as of 1990, over
100 were still in service. At this stage the cars were often carrying one
longer trailer.

 

Can anyone identify which types of trailers were used on these cars during
their long service? Which of these models are available in N Scale either
ready painted or as kits?
