[PRR-talk] Bachmann HO ATSF 2-10-4 announced

My concern is that Bachmann is going to put a 2-10-4 chassis under their ATSF 4-8-4 boiler. This was how they did their original 2-10-4 back in the 1980's. Judging by the listed November release, they might have an actual sample at the convention. Hopefully a picture will appear soon, so that we can get an idea.
Thanks,
Eric

Eric:

The numbers indicate the 5011 class Santa Fe locomotive.  These are the ones leased by PRR.  A most beautiful engine.

Bachmann has announced the following in HO:
2-10-4 Santa Fe Steam Locomotive (1940s-1950s Version) DCC Onboard  avail NOV   MSRP $200
Item No 51202   ATSF #5018
Item No 51203   ATSF #5016
Item No 51204   ATSF #5026
Item No 51205   ATSF #5034

I don't know if any of these were ones leased by the Pennsy. Also, I don't know if this is in Bachmann standard line or the more detailed Spectrum line.
