[PRR-talk] Ft. Wayne to Chicago

Hello,
       In 1967, the last full year the line  operated under the PENNSY, there 
were 5 passenger trains each way between Ft.  Wayne and Chicago.  There was 
at least one mail express train each way. (  Operated with passenger crews.)  
In addition there were also two Valparaiso  to Chicago commuter trains each 
way. I would think that freight traffic  would have been heavy also.
 
Westbound:
 
#23, The Manhattan Limited
#29, The Broadway Limited
#49, The General
#53, The Fort Pitt
#55, The Pennsylvania Limited
 
Eastbound;
 
#22, The Manhattan Limited
#28, The Broadway Limited
#48, The General
#50, The Admiral
