Re: How about wood water towers for steam engines?  I've got one going
on my layout soon, and one of the big questions is what color it should
be painted - assuming that it represents a water tower that has been
well-maintained.

There are photos of wood water towers on pages 51 and 58 of the
Society's Pennsy in the 1950s book. I can't quite figure out the color.
Maybe light building paint???
