Weldon,

First, thank you very much for volunteering to contact the Henry Ford Museum.

You can add my name to the Contacts List along with Bruce's.  I was somewhat involved in the restoration of GG1 No. 4800 and, to a much lesser extent, with 4859's restoration.

I recommend that you suggest to the Henry Ford that it put out a call through lists such as this, railfan publications, etc. for information and photos of 4909.  What they get may well help with restoration and certainly will help with their interpretation of the GG1.  They probably already have this in mind, but making the suggestion may well help them find knowledgeable people quicker.

Also, having a Henry Ford contact person / focal point (e-mail, postal address, phone number) for Listers to send information to would be most helpful.
