Rob,
Considering that the Penn Central, as successor to PRR, declared bankruptcy, and was reorganized not long after the Conrail acquisition of its properties, if there were any value it would have been redeemable at that time. Last I heard the company is now called American Premier Underwriters.

Subject: [PRR-talk] FW: RailRoad Bond
Hi all,
Got this e-mail via my web site.. Is it possible that a PRR bond from 1916 is still worth something? If so, how would one figure out how much it's worth and where would someone redeem it?
Thanks!
Rob

I Have a Penn. Railroad Gold Bond that was bought in 1916 for $500.00. It has all the interest stamps. How can I find it's worth.
