[PRR-talk] DNS Issues at DSOP.COM

Right on the heels of my server upgrade/migration there are now
intermittent DNS issues.
A few months ago an ISP named Frontier purchased my ISP, Epix. All of
my domain registrations point to Epix for secondary DNS. Sometime
recently the servers quit pulling zone files from my server, unknown
to me. Now even the existing data (even if lame) has been purged and
the server is returning "domain does not exist" type errors.
What fun!
Anyway, I am working on it. With this being Friday night, probably
won't see a fix until next week. These folks are 9 to 5'ers.
Unfortunately, I'm located in a rural area where there is only one
ISP choice -- and they take advantage of that!
In the mean time, to bypass the need for DNS, fixes follow for the
technically inclined...
