Several times over the years we have asked "When was track 2 of the
SV across LEMO taken out of service?"

I had previously determined post September 1954 for my own modeling
purposes.

Recently I was looking at the two track diagram and it occurred to me
that it looked more like a single track main with an industrial track
made out of the second main track. As of 9/54 it was still a two-
track main per the ETT.

Was reviewing a bunch of general orders relevant to the subject. Jim
Clay, you may want to read this to "date" your track chart!!!

GO 703 -- 9/22/54
(d) CAMP now remoted out of LEMO
(e) Trailing hand operated crossover from 1 to 2, and facing
crossover between 1 and yard, now equipped with electric locks
controlled by LEMO.

GO 705 -- 10/1/54
(a) Track 2 from LEMO to DILLS now known as Lemoyne Industrial Track,
access controlled by LEMO.
(b) LEMO to CAMP changed to single track, ABS
(h) Facing hand operated crossover from main to industrial track
added at CAMP, electric lock controlled by LEMO.

GO 716 -- 1/19/55
(b) Former track 2 from 1050 feet south of LEMO to 1000 feet north of
LEMO [through LEMO] removed.

There are more provisions, especially with signals, but the above is
a general accounting of the process.
